You could also listen to a song, play a video game or draw something.

If you have to call a support person, you can do that, as well. Sometimes it helps to have a good friend who can talk you down from your state of over-excitement. It’s important to take steps as soon as you realize that your anxiety is flaring. If you use the previously mentioned tips and practices, you should be able to weather the storm just fine.
