1. Candyland

Boys and girls alike love this board game when they are young. The simple game was created in 1946 and has been a hit since released by Milton Bradley.

There’s even been an animated movie of the same name. This game is one that kids never seem to grow tired of playing, and with all of the laughs and giggles you’ll share together, you won’t either.

2. Monopoly

Monopoly is another one of those board games that seems to be enjoyed by almost everyone. There is a Monopoly Jr. Version available for families with smaller children, since the original is probably not suitable for kids who are 9 or under.

3. Operation

Can you remove all of those body parts without touching the metal? If you do, you will be the winner of the classic Operation game.

If you touch the metal, the next player has a turn to work on the patient. This board game is fun and can be played by boys and girls ages 6 and older.

4. Sorry

Children 6 and up can enjoy the game of Sorry! This game has been around since 1929; the objective is to get all of your pieces to the other side. If you don’t – Sorry! The colorful pieces are entertaining to kids, and the game itself is as well.

5. Life

The game of Life, a classic indeed. Kids 8 and older will love to play this magical fairytale version of life, where the spinner controls your destiny with every move.
