An imbalance of microorganisms in the body’s gastrointestinal tract can result in inflammation. The lining of the gut can be critically damaged when harmful microbes or yeast, and an example of this is Candida which can quickly grow and spread through the intestinal tracts. The automatic immune response can cause further inflammation, and this can cause further damage.

1. Drink plenty of water to clear out toxins

We are exposed to toxins every single day. The air we breathe in, heavy metals, airborne pathogens, and molds are both visible and invisible elements that surround us. You may be surprised that the food you eat contains tons of toxins such as antibiotics, pesticides, and even added sugars.

This toxin contributes to the inflammation we feel in our body. The, in turn, trigger the genes that promote inflammation that causes heart disease and cancer. They also create an imbalance in the gut flora. This inflammation causes changes everywhere else in the body, leading to severe conditions.

One sure way to flush out toxins from the body is also one of the easiest. It is as easy as drinking enough water — that simple. Consuming plenty of water each day is an efficient way to save your gut and body from toxins. And also another way of protecting your body from inflammatory diseases.

The human intestinal tract requires water to function on an optimum level. It also helps to pass waste efficiently through the intestine and out of our bowels, hence, making defecation easy. The body’s kidney and liver are two organs that are solely responsible for detoxification. Both organs require a steady supply of water to function at a maximum level.

You also flush out toxins when you sweat. Sweat is practically made up of water. Also, millions of cells need to be adequately hydrated to carry out their functions properly. Failure to do this can contribute to the release of pro-inflammatory chemicals leading to inflammatory disorder. In short, you are less likely to develop sever inflammation when the body is adequately hydrated.

2. Regular exercise

You need to engage in regular exercise to keep your body in perfect working condition. And by the body, the gut is included. The body’s major detoxification organs such as your liver, kidney, sweat glands, intestines, urinary tract, lymphatics and circulatory system are well stimulated when you engage in constant physical activities.

Exercise has a positive effect on the body’s anti-inflammatory response by activating its sympathetic nervous system. This improves blood pressure, heart rate and breathing rate. Hormones such as epinephrine and norepinephrine are being released into the body’s bloodstream, and their job is to activate the adrenal receptors of immune cells.

A 20-minute workout session can suppress the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines by as much as 5 percent. Obesity, diabetes, celiac disease, fibromyalgia, arthritis, and even bowel diseases are common side effects of too much inflammation, and one sure way to keep these diseases from manifesting is to get involved in a regular workout.

Exercise encourages sweating, and it also forces fresh flow of blood into the body’s tissues, hence, reducing inflammation since metabolic debris are being flushed out automatically. It also facilitates restoration and repair to damaged or inflamed tissues.

You could take walks, jog, swimming, aerobics, yoga or even 30 minutes of body stretching would do so much good. There are also mobile apps you could download that assists you with workout plans.

Clinical trials also demonstrated that a considerable amount of curcumin has a potent antifungal effect against yeast infections, not to mention other fungal infections.
