Personal hygiene is one topic that has been emphasised for a very long time. Growing up we are told to take our bath at least twice daily, brush our teeth and floss before bedtime then when we became teenagers we were introduced to shaving our pubic areas.

When you want to shave your pubes what do you use? Are you one of those who uses a razor, or would you instead opt for shaving cream or a trimmer?

Men have traditionally used razors because they believe that it offers a cleaner shave. However, science strongly believes that using a blade to shave your pubic region comes with a lot of health risks.

Imagine how dangerous it would be if you had to sneeze while shaving your pubic region with a razor. You bet the cut will be very deep and you need not to imagine how much blood you would lose. Thus using a trimmer is a much safer alternative.

Men grooming habits have significantly improved in the last decade. Gone are the days when people believed leaving hair under a man’s armpit or in the pubic region is a sign of masculinity.

These days, manscaping is now a necessity because people are growing to understand that cleaning your body hairs is part of healthy living.

More attention has also been paid to the tools you use in keeping your below the belt clean because the safer the tools are, the healthier for you.

Even though a lot of us know the reasons why you need to use a trimmer instead of a razor, there are still so many people who would go for a razor instead of a trimmer.

This article is designed to serve as a guide that will help you understand why it is better to go for a trimmer than a razor when it comes to shaving body hairs.

Easy to manoeuvre

One thing that we all can agree on is that shaving your pubic region is not easy. You have to be extra careful so that you don’t hurt yourself in the process.

Shaving with a razor is always risky most especially because there are difficult areas that you have to reach when getting rid of hair. Most often than not, electronic resources are made in rather large sizes which is not exactly safe for use.

Because of the enormous sizes of this electronic resource, it becomes difficult for you to manoeuvre them when you have to shave sensitive areas because there is always a risk that you would cut your skin accidentally.

Trimmers, on the other hand, are created in such a way that you can easily manoeuvre them you can shave sensitive areas without being scared of cutting yourself or not shaving as clean as you want.

You can get a range of pro trimmers from manscaped that will help you eliminate the risk of injuring yourself when cutting down below.

Keeps your skin soft

Your pubic area is one of the most sensitive parts of your body; the skin around that part is very soft. And using a razor to shave off hair would only make the skin rough and hard.

When the skin in your pubic region is soft and smooth, you definitely would have super sexy confidence when you take off your clothes this is enough reason for you to opt for a trimmer.

Trimmers will help keep your skin soft and prevent you from experience in any form of itchiness because trimmers do not shave off the hair entirely but just trims it to a decent length.

Easy to adjust the hair length

Unlike ladies, a lot of men do not appreciate their pubic region looking bare or bald. Some women also appreciate it when there is a little bit of grass on the field (if you know what I mean) and they have very good reasons for this.

But when you use a raise or it can be very difficult to adjust the hair length, and even sometimes it can be completely impossible for you to avoid completely shaving off the hair in that region.

A trimmer, however, gives you the option of adjusting the length of your hair as much as you want. The width of the blade is very adjustable which makes it easy for you to decide how short or how long you want your pubic hair to look when you’re done shaving.

If you’re looking to prevent bumps and itching in your pubic area, then this is the best route to take because it allows you leave a minimum amount of hair that will not prick you or make you uncomfortable.

Apart from the health advantages, we have already mentioned it is also worth considering how much time you be willing to save while shaving.

While shaving of hair using a razor you have to be extra attentive so that you do not hurt yourself and this makes you spend more time getting rid of hair when you could actually save precious time for other things.

Everybody has lots of things to do, and for this reason, they do everything possible to save time, so you need to go for something that works well and is a lot quicker to use.

A trimmer helps you shave very fast and also does not require you to spend too much time on tough areas. When using a trimmer all that you are required to do is adjust the blades to reduce the chances of cuts and scratches.

Always remember that shaving your pubic area is a very sensitive issue, so it is imperative that you take precaution to ensure your safety. The first step to protecting your manhood is to make use of a trimmer instead of a blade.

We clearly understand that the choice of what item to use for shaving boils down to personal preferences. But, at the same time, it is best that you weigh the pros and cons before you choose the best shaving method for yourself and from all that we have written so far it is obvious that a trimmer is better than razor blades.

Let us know if you have used a trimmer or if you have any other opinions or suggestions that you would like to share with us.
