The first and maybe the most simple but effective one is surprisingly wearing sunglasses. You might be asking yourself why do I have to wear sunglasses in winter? Well, the answer to this is very simple. Because you don’t see the sun that much in winter doesn’t mean that the sun doesn’t affect your eyes.

Even in winter days in which we don’t see the sun much, there are still UV rays affecting your eyes. So, it is good to keep in mind that if you are having problems with your eyes in winter you should try wearing sunglasses.

Well, you may not have realized it but in winter because of low tear production in your eyes they get very dry so the best thing to do is Moisturizing them once in a while. You can do this by using eye drops, you can get eye drops from dispensaries or you can speak to your doctor about getting them. The third tip worth giving is staying away from electronic devices. Because in winter your eyes are already under a lot of pressure. These electronic devices could be your phone, your computer, your television and the list go on. Remember winter makes dry eyes, and to much heat makes the same effect on our eyes, so no need to make things even worse put a distance to your heat source to avoid this problem.

Treat your eyes as soon as possible. When you feel you have a problem with your eyes don’t just rub them and wait for it to pass. If you are having some problems with your eyes in winter you should really think about doing something about it. One of the best things you can do is putting a warm damp cloth on your eyes for 20 minutes and wait for them to do better. If you are still having the same problems don’t panic, make an arrangement with your eye doctor if none of the things you try to work out the way you want.
