The moment when people realized the dangers of cigarette smoking, they have started trying to quit the habit. However, it has been unfortunate for those who have encountered difficulties in quitting. Thus, various companies have started manufacturing and innovating smoking cessation products.

These products have a goal to make quitting easier and to help people live a healthier lifestyle. However, the question is always about the effectiveness of these products. How much help can these products offer?

How effective are they to help people quit? These are some of the questions that even at this present time remain perplexing. The different smoking cessation products at this present time can increase the chances of quitting in committed smokers who are prepared and motivated to stop smoking.

However, a broader range of intervention is needed so as to bring more numbers of people to such kind of treatment and increase the number of those who stay motivated in making quit attempts. One of the most common smoking cessation products is the electronic cigarette. It aims to address people’s nicotine dependence.

Its prime mechanism of action is to partially replace the nicotine which was formerly obtained from a tobacco and aid smoking cessation by attenuating the reinforcing effect of nicotine that is being delivered via tobacco. This therefore reduces the severity of cravings and withdrawal symptoms.

The approved nicotine replacement therapies do not necessarily and completely control all of withdrawal symptoms because the delivery systems which are available do not produce the high and rapid levels of nicotine that is achieved through the use of tobacco.

The differences in the formulation may also have a distinct impact on the withdrawal symptom or the urge to smoke, yet there is less direct evidence that one kind of nicotine product is way better than the other. Thus, this makes it possible for electronic cigarettes, like the Kangertech Evod kit, to deliver aerosolized nicotine in a more efficient way.

Electronic cigarettes or better known as electric cigarettes and e-cigs are specifically designed to feel and look like real cigarettes. This reaches to the point of being able to emit artificial smoke, yet there is no tobacco content in it.

The user inhales a nicotine vapor that is similar to a smoke without carcinogen contents that can be found in a tobacco smoke and is detrimental to the smoker and those around him. It has a nicotine cartridge that contains the liquid nicotine. When it is inhaled, a battery-powered atomizer turns the liquid nicotine into vapor. Inhaling this gives the user a nicotine shot in seconds, instead of minutes in gum or patches. There is a small LED light at the tip that glows, stimulating real cigarettes when the user inhales.

The electronic cigarette has been existent for quite a long time now. This has become a healthier option for those who have the desire and the will to quit smoking. Given that it does not emit any harmful substances and toxins, or even a real smoke in such case, make quitting possible in a healthier way.
