2. Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White.

Charlotte’s Web is a classic tale that is still read in classrooms today. Even if your child has read the book with his class, owning his or her very own copy is an essential part of growing up.

This book follows the story of Charlotte who had a beloved pig that she called Wilbur. The mishap, friendship and love of this little girl and her pig are prominent throughout the book.

3. Charlie & the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl.

The movie-turned book follows Charlie on his journeys through the chocolate factory. If your little one loved the movie, the book will be just as amazing. If your child has not seen the movie the book will be an even more special treat.

4. How to Eat Fried Worms by Thomas Rockwell.

First published in 1973, “How to Eat Fried Worms” is a tale of Billy who made a bet that he could eat 15 worms in 15 days.

Billy is determined to make good on his bet, and your child will love reading more about his adventures during those 15 days of worm eating.
