Foods that you should avoid if you regularly have digestive issues or are having temporary digestive problems are dairy products, fried foods, fatty foods, candy, acidic foods, alcohol, and processed foods. As you can see foods that are bad for digestive health, primarily become bad for your digestive system due to the way that they are prepared. Try and stay away from fast food and microwave meals; instead prepare your meals at home with a limited amount of oil and salt.

Foods that you should eat on a regular basis for good digestive system are zucchini, whole grains breads and rice, chia seeds, and fresh fish. This may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of maintaining your digestive health. However, exercise is such an important part of keeping your digestive system in check. When you exercise on a regular basis, you can assist your body in moving food through your digestive system. If you don’t have a gym membership, take a daily walk in your neighborhood or park. You can also perform housework or start taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Do everything that you can to stay active and keep your body in shape!
