There’s no one set way to guarantee you will live a long life. However, there are a few things that you can do that will make it more likely that you’ll live a long time. By taking some steps now to alter your daily life, you could set yourself up for a long life ahead of you. Here are 6 things that you can start doing now.

If you want to live a long life, your diet is going to play an important role. Having a healthy diet allows you to stay close to your ideal weight, which is good for things like your heart and lungs. The foods we put into our bodies play a large role in how much energy we have, how we feel, and what sort of health complications we can have going forward. A regular physical can also monitor things like your diet, your cholesterol levels, and your blood pressure, to ensure you are living a healthy lifestyle. Finally, it is important to take care of your mental health along with your physical health.
