12 Natural Ways to Get Fuller and Thicker Eyebrows

You may be one of several people suffering from thin eyebrows or gaps in eyebrows due to over plucking or incorrect threading. Here are some tips to regrow eyebrows naturally:

1. Castor oil

Castor oil consists of vitamin E, omega-6 fatty acids, and omega-9 acids that stimulates the growth of hair and conditions it. Massage castor oil into your brows for a few minutes and let it sit for some time. Wash off with warm water and a gentle cleanser. Repeat every day for thicker eyebrows. Castor oil also has germ-fighting properties that prevent infections.

2. Vaseline

Vaseline petroleum jelly promotes hair growth and strengthens hair. Before going to bed, cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser. Pat your face dry. Massage Vaseline petroleum jelly into your eyebrows and set it using a brow brush. Leave it on overnight. Wash off with lukewarm water in the morning.

3. Coconut oil

Coconut oil is known for promoting hair growth and darkening the color of hair. Apply it to your eyebrows and leave it on overnight for more effectiveness.

An alternative is a mixture of coconut oil and lemon peel left to blend in a dark place for a fortnight. Using a cotton ball, apply the mixture to your eyebrows before bed time.

4. Onion juice

The sulphur content of onions boosts hair growth and promotes dense regrowth. Grind an onion to obtain its juice. Apply the juice using a cotton ball to the area below the eyebrows. Do not wash it off for maximum benefit.

5. Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera

Aloe vera gel makes hair shiny, soft, and thick. It is also known for its skin healing properties. Crush aloe vera leaves and massage the gel onto your eyebrows. The process should be repeated several times a week for best results. This method is good for people with thinning eyebrows due to over plucking.

6. Milk

Milk promotes hair growth due to presence of milk proteins that nourish hair. A cotton ball dipped in milk should be massaged over the eyebrows and left on overnight. Results can be seen in a few weeks.

7. Vitamin E oil

Vitamin E oil can be used to stop hair fall and improve the quality of hair. Since it promotes the restoration of hair, it is good for people who have gaps in their eyebrows. Vitamin E oil is good for strengthening and thickening hair.

8. Olive oil

Olive oil encourages the growth of hair and thickening. It should be massaged into the eyebrows in the direction of hair growth. This oil conditions hair and gives a shiny luster. After leaving it on for 10-15 minutes, it should be washed off with lukewarm water.

9. Egg

Whole Eggs

Egg white contains albumin protein, whereas egg yolk contains fat. Both components nourish hair follicles, make hair grow faster, and encourage thick hair growth. Apply egg to the eyebrows using a cotton ball and leave it on for 15-20 minutes. Wash it off with tepid water.

10. Lemon

Lemon juice can increase the thickness of hair. Cut a slice of lemon and rub it on your eyebrows. Remember to avoid going out in the sun after applying lemon juice since it increases the sensitivity of skin to the sun’s UV rays.

11. Vitamins B and D

Regular intake of vitamins B and D will ensure a thick growth of hair and keep it healthy. They can be taken either through food or in the form of supplements. Foods that are rich in vitamin B are broccoli, mushrooms, asparagus, green leafy vegetables, Brussels sprouts, whole-grain cereals, nuts, fish, chicken, liver, potatoes, peanuts, beans, tomatoes, milk, eggs, and cheese. Vitamin D rich foods are cod liver oil, fish, oysters, dairy products, eggs, mushrooms, tofu, soy milk, ham, and sausages.

12. Fenugreek seeds

Fenugreek seeds can be ground into a paste and applied to the eyebrows before going to bed or early in the morning before taking a shower. Fenugreek seeds contain nicotinic acid, lecithin, and proteins that strengthen the roots of the hair and nourish hair follicles.

It is effective in preventing hair loss and hair thinning. Almond oil can be mixed with fenugreek seeds to make a paste which will have added benefits of nourishment of hair.
